Anna McLoughlin

About

Anna McLoughlin brings a strong, spirited passion for the spirits industry and an extensive hospitality know-how to her role as Bacardi Portfolio Ambassador for NYC.

A native of Ohio, Anna began her career in hospitality over a decade ago while attending The Ohio State University. After graduating, she moved to New York City hoping to break into the music or acting scene. To make ends meet, she worked as a hostess in a 24 hour diner, was a sushi waitress, and took odd jobs through a temp agency before discovering her passion at her first bar job in downtown Manhattan.

Anna immersed herself in the bar and fortuitously met Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon there, the future owners of the now world famous, The Dead Rabbit. When they asked her to join their team as of the opening bar staff and resident singer, her fate was sealed.

Her job as cocktail waitress in the Parlor led to an intense spirits and cocktail education along with the opportunity to meet and network with some of the top professionals in the hospitality and spirits industry. From that experience and her passion to continue to push herself and expand her career, she joined the Bacardi portfolio team in 2015. Since becoming an ambassador, a few of her achievements include mentoring Bacardi Legacy 2016 global winner Gn Chan and Legacy 2017 national winner Darnell Holguin, leading a sold out Tales Seminar on the importance of the floor staff, and hosting Speedrack New England. She loves her job because it gives her the platform to educate, mentor, and inspire hospitality professionals at any stage in their careers.
