CALL FOR PAPERS

Bar Convent Brooklyn is looking for speaking candidates to share best practices, ideas and innovations that will benefit the members of the professional bar and beverage community both domestically and internationally.

The educational program at BCB Brooklyn will provide bartenders, owners and managers with cutting-edge information from globally recognized speakers to keep them competitive, help them gain a fresh perspective and ignite their passion.

Speaker Benefits:

Every speaker will have up to 45 minutes to present their topic, including Q&A.

What is needed for a speaker submission?

  • Speaker name, speaker bio and social media links
  • Session title and a brief synopsis of your session

Please note: Education content must be commercial free and vendor neutral. Speakers, under NO circumstances, may promote their company or product in the education program. Presentations should not include tasting components.

If you have a unique idea for a session, insight into an emerging trend, or expertise on a certain topic within the bar and beverage industry, submit your proposal today. Be creative, thorough and informative and make sure to tailor your presentation to the audience.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, February 8, 2019.

Angus Winchester, Director of Education, along with an independent educational committee will review all submissions and approve each session. You will be informed in early March if your submission has been accepted or not. If accepted, the committee will reach out for further information.

Please note: If you have submitted content for Bar Convent Berlin, you must fill out the form again for BCB Brooklyn.
