A brief yet technical dive into the complex genesis of flavor in Scotch Whisky before it’s long journey into the dark, silent depths of a barrel. Join Ewan Morgan from Diageo Reserve as he takes the attendees through the intricate, and often, infinitesimal processes used by modern distillers to manipulate the flavor of the spirit produced.

Attendees will taste ‘new make’ styles from three iconic Single Malt Distilleries and analyze the specific character from each understanding why they taste so different despite being made from the exact same three raw ingredients.

This is a fun, fast paced and interactive seminar that encourages attendees to ask questions as well as sample lab samples sent over from Scotland, responsibly of course!
