🕛Session1: Intro to Hospitality Cooperatives for BCB Brooklyn Preview Night at Milly's
 

Join Leif Huckman of Working World  and teams from the community the cooperative business models of Donna Cocktail Bar and Boyfriend Co-Op. The discussions will include how a cooperative business differs from a traditional business, dispel some myths, and demonstrate how these businesses are succeeding and why this movement is gaining momentum in NYC and beyond.

🕛Session 2: Hybrid and Native Grapes and the Future of Wine with NY Winemakers Todd Cavallo and Jahdé Marley
 
Todd Cavallo is the co-founder of Wild Arc Farm in New York’s Hudson Valley, where he produces natural wines, ciders, spirits, and botanical beverages from primarily hybrid and native grapes. His work focuses on regenerative farming, climate justice, and developing a new regional wine language rooted in Northeastern agriculture, while referencing and respecting ancestral knowledge and tradition.

Jahdé Marley is a New York based wine professional with Caribbean roots. She specializes in sustainability, decolonial narratives, and community building within the beverage industry. Her current work is split between sales, import, and distribution. She works with Zev Rovine Selections and manages the Spirits and Domestic Wine portfolios. She also founded the wine summit [ABV] Ferments, which highlights all non-vinifera ferments and uplifts the diverse communities shaping the future of American wine.
