BCB Brooklyn is committed to reducing our environmental impact and spotlighting sustainable practices in the drinks industry.

  • Zero Waste Efforts: We partner with companies like Great Performances to ensure all used and excess garnishes are composted.
  • Materials Reduction: From exhibitor booth materials to repurposing signage year to year. BCB Brooklyn understands the importance of reducing material use and lessening energy consumption.
  • Education Sessions: Attend sustainability-focused seminars on topics like upcycled ingredients, circular bartending, and energy-efficient bar design.
  • Trees for the Future: In a partnership with Trees for the Future, the BCB Brooklyn pledges to plant ten trees for each visitor who registers for the event.

Between all the action, we know the day can be intense. That’s why we’ve created spaces for you to relax and recharge.

Where to Unwind

  • Reset Room: Located in Building 82A next to Park Street University, our designated quiet room is a great place to relax, unwind and step away from the crowd for a little bit.
  • USBGNY Hospitality Lounge: In partnership with the United States Bartender Guild New York Chapter, this lounge offers a space where you can rest, regroup and catch your breath. Located right in the Barrow’s Intense NY Tasting Room.

No & Low Spirits at BCB Brooklyn

The no & low trend is not just a moment — it’s a movement. BCB Brooklyn celebrates the growth and innovation in mindful drinking through:

  • Education Programming: Hear from category leaders and founders like Carl Radke and Third Place Bar owner Sam Bail as they discuss some key topics shaping the no & low industry.
  • No & Low Brands: BCB Brooklyn features TONS of no & low brands and provides them with a platform to showcase their latest innovations within the space.

BCB Brooklyn is excited to bring you famous celebrities from the bar and beverage industry. From famous reality tv stars to some of the top bartenders from around the world.

Do's

  • Be friendly and respectful. Introduce yourself, strike up a conversation, ask them appropriate questions.
  • Make the most of your interactions but respect their time. BCB Brooklyn brings thousands of bar and beverage professionals from around the world. So it’s important to that you give others the opportunity to meet with the guests.
  • Be respectful of their boundaries. Everyone has different levels when it comes to face-to-face interactions. That’s why it’s important to understand their boundaries when it comes to things like hugging, handshakes, etc..

Don'ts

  • Be inappropriate or harass the guests. They are people too, just like you; and are trying to enjoy the convention just as much as you are! 
  • Discuss any sensitive topics. One thing about these guests is a lot of their life is shared with the public. So it’s important to keep things respectful when talking to them and not bring up any topics that might offend.
